Meet The Sun Ray Family Dental Staff

Dr. Maddie Auvinen, DDS
Dr. Maddie was born in Burnsville, Minnesota and graduated from high school in Duluth. Dr. Maddie completed her bachelor’s and master’s on the East Coast. She earned her D.D.S. from Columbia University in New York City in 2023. Dr. Maddie went on to complete residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where she was trained in complex dental procedures. Dr. Maddie is excited to be returning to Minnesota after 11 years away. In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga, riding her Peloton bike, reading fiction, seeing new movies, and trying new restaurants.
 

 

Dr. Casey Flowers, DDS
Dr. Casey Flowers was born and raised in Elyria, Ohio outside of Cleveland. In 2017, he graduated from Ohio State University with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry. He later received his DDS degree in 2021 at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Flowers completed an AEGD residency program in Boise, Idaho where he received advanced training in surgery, endodontics, and comprehensive treatments.

Dr. Flowers is looking forward to connecting with the people in the Sun Ray Family Dental community to help them attain their best oral health. He is dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care and is passionate about attending continuing education courses to keep up with the latest research. He finds the most rewarding part of practicing dentistry to be the trusting relationships and friendships he has cultivated with patients along with other dental professionals.

Outside of the office, Dr. Flowers enjoys attending music events, biking, skiing, peak bagging, playing violin, and rooting for the Buckeyes and Browns.
